Directions off the 22 Fwy
We sit on the east side of N Grand Ave, roughly 600 feet south of the Garden Grove Freeway. From the 22 in either direction, take the exit signed Grand Ave / Glassell St and head south on Grand. The Del Taco just past the ramps is your first marker; we're in the run of storefronts right after it, a few doors north of the Starbucks on the corner of Grand and Fairhaven Ave.
Coming north up Grand from the middle of Santa Ana, we're on your right just past Fairhaven — if you hit the freeway overpass, you went one block too far. From the 5 or the Orange Crush, the 22 east to Grand Ave is the shortest way in. Map apps take the full address cleanly: 2731 N Grand Ave, Santa Ana CA 92705.
Where to leave the car
Parking is off-street in the lot the shop fronts, with more spaces around the side of the building when the front row fills. Grand is six lanes wide through here, so don't plan on curbside — pull into the lot instead.
No structure, no meter, no ticket to get validated at the desk. If a rideshare driver is fighting the address, tell them to drop you at the Starbucks on Grand and Fairhaven and walk the few doors north.
Walk in or plan ahead
Book online and the time is held for you; otherwise every chair runs first come, first served. Walk in during any open hour and you take the first barber who opens up. Monday through Saturday we're on the floor ten hours, 10a to 8p. Sunday is a five-hour day, 10a to 3p, so if your weekend is flexible, Saturday gives you twice the window.
Working around something that can't move — a wedding morning, an early flight, a shoot — email info@VVSBarbershop.com and we'll tell you the calmest hour to come in. Same for wedding parties and group cuts, which we'd rather know about a week early than the morning of.
What happens when you arrive
Nobody touches a clipper before the consult. It's three questions: how short you want it at the bottom, where the fade line should sit, and how much length you're keeping on top. Bring a photo if you have one — it settles all three faster than words do.
Then it's the cut, the lineup, and the finish, and we walk the mirror with you before the cape comes off. Services on our menu run from 15 minutes to 45, so even when a barber is mid-cut, the wait is usually shorter than the drive over.
